Location The Hotel is in the ideal location for visiting South Lakeland and the stunning Cumbrian coast. It is also a top choice for those visiting local events such as Cartmel Races, Steam Gathering Festival and the many events held by Holker Hall to name but a few. Furthermore, as we are only a short drive from the M6 Motorway, guests travel comfortably from a range of locations between Scotland and London.
Bedrooms The Hotel currently benefits from eight en-suite bedrooms, five in the main building and three in a first floor annex which opened in January 2015. The three bedrooms in the annex are accessed through their own entrance. Unfortunately, none of the rooms are on the ground floor and are therefore difficult to access for those with physical disabilities or mobility issues.

We have four different types of rooms available:
Communal Areas The ground floor comprises of a 45 cover restaurant, which residents and non-residents are both welcoming to dine in.
There is also a bar serving over 30 gins and a great range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We have wide selection of soft drinks available as well as an extensive wine list and a range of local drinks.
We also have a lounge area with a selection of books, magazines, puzzles and games that all residents are welcome to use.
The garden and patio area has seating available for guests. A large outdoor chimney is situated in the middle of the patio to keep guests warm during the chillier months. For those with dogs, you are welcome to use the lawn for them to have some fun and run around.
